Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Safety Specialist located in Aiken, SC. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring health and safety compliance, conducting safety training, investigating accidents, and implementing measures to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and "Environment Health and Safety (EHS)" skills
- Safety Training and Accident Investigation skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in safety-related fields is a plus
- Prior experience in demolition, construction, or heavy industries is preferred
